Woodlawn Board of Trustees Names a New CEO

Alan Fisher, the current CEO of Woodlawn, announced his plan to retire in June of 2026, prompting a nationwide search to fill the position.

“We want to sincerely thank Alan Fisher for his leadership of Woodlawn for the last four years. He has done remarkable things for our hospital and community. The Board wishes him well and is grateful for his service,” Terri Johnson, Chairperson of the Woodlawn Health Board of Trustees, stated.

On June 5, the Woodlawn Board of Trustees voted to appoint Dr. Brad Rogers, the current Chief Operating Officer, to the CEO position.

“Brad has worked at Woodlawn Health for over 20 years. His commitment to our area and this organization will help Woodlawn move forward. The Board is thrilled to support him in his future leadership of the organization as we continue to earn the right to care for our community,” Johnson said.

Rogers has a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy, a Master of Public Affairs, and a Master of Public Management with a concentration in healthcare from Indiana University. He has a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Temple University. In 2025, he received the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation. He started at Woodlawn in 2006 as the Director of Cardiopulmonary and Rehabilitation Services. Throughout his tenure at the organization, he has served as the Executive Director and, in 2022, moved into the Chief Operating Officer position. Rogers is a Miami County native and currently lives north of Peru with his family.

“I am so honored to continue to serve this community and lead this organization that I have been a part of for the last 20 years. I want to sincerely thank the Board of Trustees and the staff at Woodlawn for placing their trust in me,” Rogers stated.
