From Poolside to Courtside: An Open House with the Foundation
The Fulton County Community Foundation and the City of Rochester invite the community to From Poolside to Courtside, a free open house on Tuesday, August 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the City Pickleball Courts Pavilion, located at 701 East 6th Street in Rochester.
This family-friendly event invites guests to explore recent improvements to the city pool and pickleball courts and see how community investments have helped create places to play, connect, and thrive in our community. Light refreshments will be provided.
“The Community Foundation is excited to host a site visit celebrating the efforts of community members who have helped create entertainment and recreational opportunities for all ages,” said Brian Johnson, Fulton County Community Foundation Director of Development. “The pickleball courts are a wonderful example of citizens coming together to expand local recreation, while updates to the Rochester City Pool show how the park board and passionate residents worked to ensure a beloved community staple remains available for everyone to enjoy. We are grateful to all who stepped up to make a difference, and we look forward to sharing with donors and the broader community how grant dollars continue to make a lasting impact.”
Guests are welcome to stop by any time between 4 and 6 p.m., enjoy refreshments, explore the recent improvements, and learn more about the partnerships that helped make the projects possible. No RSVP is required.
