November 2024 - Enyart's

Tell us a little bit about the history of Enyart's Hardware:

My parents, Emerson and Barbara Enyart, started this business in 1975. They poured their heart and soul into this business to grow it to what it is. They first started as Enyart's Discount and just in the front section of the store. They joined True Value in 1975 and continued to grow the business and filling up more and more of the building as it grew, even adding an addition on in 2006. In 2023, we switched to Do It Best Corporation. They have both passed and I am doing my best to carry on their legacy.

How has the store adapted over the years? Are there any old traditions or customer favorites that have stuck around?

We have had to continually update technology of course but the biggest thing over the years has been product selection. We have to stay on top of making sure we have the right products for our customers at a fair price to compete with the big box stores.

One of the best traditions that my parents started and we still strive for is giving the best customer service we can...and also giving tootsie rolls to the kids that come in with their parents. We have adults that come in now and say how they remember coming here as kids and getting a tootsie roll and now they are bringing in their children. It's a really special thing.

Do you have any special ways of giving back or supporting the local community?

We are involved in local events and support the different charities, non for profits, organizations and clubs of our community.

Why should Fulton County residents choose Enyart's Hardware?

We want people to come to Enyart's because we are locally owned and operated. We are a part of this community. We are committed to providing friendly and personal customer service to everyone who walks in the door. Our staff is knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to make sure you leave with what you need to complete your project.
