1.     How did you first get involved with the root beer drive-in? I worked as a car hop when it was an A&W when I was in high school "back in the day"

2.     What makes this business special to you? It is nostalgic, something from the past. A type of business that just isn't around much anymore. It has been a business that my girls have been able to work at with me growing up. They still come and help out as much as they can.

3.     What is something people might not know about this business? We make our own root beer and coney sauce. We are one of only two B&K Drive-Ins that have and still use a speaker system to talk to the cars and take orders.

4.     What is a go-to item on the menu? Coney dog and ug of rot beer always!! Hand Breaded Tenderloin, we make out own. Milkshake, they are hand dipped!!

5.     Tell us about a rewarding moment in the history of this root beer stand? Watching the local kids grow up while working here!! Most of the teens i have, work here all through high school, some even return and work while in college and home on summer breaks. It is very rewarding to watch them grow from the shy kid that didn't know how to count change or take an order to the confident personal they become. It is fun to see what path they take for their future careers. Then once they are grown; it is always fun when they come back to visit and stop in to say hello.
